40-Day Journey to Find Hope

40-Day Journey to Find Hope

Rediscover hope—one day, one Scripture, and one faithful step at a time.

When your heart is weary, even getting through the day can feel overwhelming.

You may love God and still feel discouraged. You may pray faithfully and still wonder when life will get better. You may be facing chronic illness, grief, anxiety, financial pressure, relationship difficulties, or a situation that seems impossible.

You do not have to pretend you are fine—and you do not have to walk through this season alone.

The 40-Day Journey to Find Hope is a free, Scripture-centered email devotional created to help you slow down, meet with God, and renew your hope in Jesus Christ.

Each day, you will receive a brief, compassionate devotional with biblical encouragement and one practical step you can take—even when your energy is limited.

Is Your Heart Growing Weary?

Perhaps you have been asking:

  • How much longer can I keep doing this?
  • Does God see what I am going through?
  • Why do I still feel hopeless when I have been praying?
  • How can I trust God when nothing seems to change?
  • Is lasting hope really possible for me?

If these questions sound familiar, this journey was created for you.

You do not have to begin feeling strong, cheerful, or full of faith. Come exactly as you are—tired, uncertain, disappointed, hurting, or simply longing to feel close to God again.

Biblical hope is not pretending that everything is okay. It is learning to anchor your heart in Jesus when your circumstances remain uncertain.

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

—Romans 15:13, NKJV

What You Will Receive

For 40 days, you will receive one devotional email each day containing:

  • A short message written for the realities of a weary heart
  • Scripture to help you focus on God’s truth
  • A clear Today’s Hope Truth
  • A personal prayer you can make your own
  • Reflection questions for prayer or journaling
  • One simple practice to help you apply the message
  • Compassionate encouragement for your next faithful step

You can complete each devotional in approximately 15–30 minutes, but there is no pressure to do it perfectly.

Some days, you may have time to read, pray, and journal. On other days, reading one verse may be all you can manage.

That is enough.

Give God the time and strength you have.

Your circumstances may not change overnight, but your heart can become more securely anchored in Christ.

What We Will Explore Together

During the 40-day journey, we will talk honestly about the experiences that strengthen or steal our hope, including:

  • Waiting for life to settle down
  • Hope when your energy is gone
  • Responding to bad news
  • Comparison and discontentment
  • Feeling overwhelmed
  • Change and uncertainty
  • Persevering through chronic struggles
  • The importance of community
  • Trusting and obeying God
  • Injustice and unanswered questions
  • Guilt, shame, and people-pleasing
  • Distraction and emotional escape
  • Listening to God through Scripture
  • Returning to truth when old feelings reappear
  • Finding your identity and hope in Jesus

This journey will not offer shallow promises or tell you to “just be positive.”

Instead, we will bring our real struggles into the presence of God and learn to hold on to the hope found in His character, His Word, and His promises.

Meet Michelle

Hello, I’m Michelle Broussard, a licensed pastoral counselor and the founder of Hope for the Weary Heart.

I created this journey because I needed hope too.

After years of chronic illness, fatigue, financial stress, physical setbacks, and spiritual battles, I reached a place where hope felt almost impossible. I prayed and studied Scripture, yet privately wondered where God was and whether life would ever get better.

As a Christian counselor, I felt pressure to appear hopeful while struggling simply to make it through each day.

My journey back to hope was not immediate or effortless. God met me gradually through His Word, honest prayer, compassionate support, and one faithful step at a time.

Now I help weary women discover that they can love God and still struggle—and that their struggle does not disqualify them from His grace.

I would be honored to walk beside you during the next 40 days.

You Do Not Need to Have It All Together

You do not need:

  • Perfect faith
  • Consistent emotions
  • A quiet life
  • An answered prayer
  • A pain-free body
  • A completed Bible-reading plan
  • All the right words

You only need a willing heart.

Bring your weariness, questions, disappointment, and remaining hope—however small it may feel.

Jesus will meet you there.
